Outstanding hotel. The walking tour did not give a feeling of Amsterdam, saw no canals, just walked past businesses and residences to arrive at museum. Weather was pretty bad, cold with strong winds and heavy rain which did not help. The cheese and wine evening cruise was a delight, gracious hosts, saw many sights even though it was night. ...
We spent several days in Amsterdam before our cruise. Lots to do! We enjoyed a Walking Tour, Anne Frank House, museums, night canal cruise, shopping, and a Food Tour - great way to see the city! ...
I was fortunate enough to have booked the Van Gogh museum in advance as it was raining as in a tropical storm. That was my introduction to Amsterdam. Downtown had lots of little restaurants and shops. Everyone spoke faultless English so no issues getting around or getting information. ...

Really, some of these things must still be here from WWII. The thousands of bike riders are rude, entitled jerks who would just ...
Possibly my favorite city I have ever visited. We spent a night in Amsterdam before the cruise. So easy to get around the city center either on foot or by using the trams. Make sure to try a stroopwaffle (or two, or three). ...
